[...] We all know by now that advertising is one of the best way to earn and make money or linden dollars. That’s how I make money here in my blog. Also, advertising the places where I earn free lindens is an obvious way of how I make big bucks without camping. [...]

Thanks for the update :)
However, I think most of the spots require you to constantly check your avatar and answer questions to remain on that spot, which gets pretty tedious.

Those types of camping spots are absoutely horrid. I am a user that leaves my avatar camping on a spot so that someone gets the traffic while I do things in real life. When I am camping, I want to leave my body there and do other things, not pay attention to SL. If I wanted to be active on the screen, I would be doing something other than camping, like roleplaying or shopping. I do not quite understand the people that put up with that, or even the people that wait around for a particular spot. SL should be more than money; I mean, it is nice and helpful, but if it was about money, why have all the nifty features and areas to explore?

Maybe it is due to a lack of imagination. :|

Thanks for the update Chino. I’ve noticed that the information on secondlifecamping.com is sorely out of date. I go back and forth on camping. Sometime I don’t see the point since the earnings are so little. But other times I think, hey I’m not doing anything else with my avatar right now, may as well earn a few extra Lindens.

I have to note that these spots may also be very crowded (I have yet to check), so it may be pointless to check them.

On the positives of camping, I can leave my avatar running on a camping spot while I go to work elsewhere. Granted, I work and live on a college campus, so I can walk between the two areas and check if I have crashed fairly easily. But this is how I make my money and still have time to do other things.

I need to find out more information about the BDG money HUD, too. I have one, and they are nice, but I need to gather the information before I post anything.

Touching back on this, I did visit the BellaRose Furniture sim, which has a good number of camping spots for 2l/10min… but they were all full. Pretty disheartening.

Frankly, I would like a little-known list of little-known camping places. I really do not mind how much they pay (except for the hobo spot, which pays 1l/24 hours. :P ), so long as I get something. This inability to find spaces is what really catches me between being nice and sharing or being greedy and not passing landmarks.

Took me a little bit to find what you were referring to (needed to look down instead of up :P ), but if you are referring to Kabalyero, it does look interesting. I will hopefully explore that one later. Thanks for the directive plug. :)

Some of the places has different spots with different rates… it’s really easy to miss that single chair that offers a higher rate in a middle of 20 other chairs that are identical in appearance.

I am not quite sure what I think of that, considering the competition and poor ettiqute it can bring out in people. Again, I point out how people will just stand there, staring at a spot and waiting for a person to pop off so they can hungrily click ’sit’.

And I admit to doing this sometimes; it is hard to be alturistic when so many others are not.

Lol you are practically quoting every single comment. Pretty desperate for the L1000 huh.

Careful, pot calling the kettle black. And I am providing some thought-filled comments, rather than just “Good-job” or “interesting” like some commentators have. As for the 1000L, yes, any amount helps, as it all goes back to my group. I care very much for them, so I will do what I can to support them.

Did I say you were spamming? Oo No.
And you do realize that you’ve been the only one posting for the last half hour lol. It’s all going to be deleted next week so you can stop posting now, no one will bother racing with you anymore =P

It was implied, and while comments are a motive, I am honestly interested in the content and putting forth my thoughts. The past blog entry concerning Chino’s memories was very sweet and brought out my own thoughts; others I have honestly been curious about.

So what if they are deleted? I would still like to get thoughts out there, and if Chino minds, he will probably say something.

Thank you so much!! ^_^ I’ve never been camping yet but never really considered it since the spots were only worth about $2-$4 Linden per 20 minutes or so which would basically get me nowhere :D I also like looking around for shops that offer free clothes/outfits to those who are willing to camp for an hour or so. For some shops it’s a pretty good deal but in the end its all about whether that outfit/item is worth it or not : )

Honestly this site is very helpful for a new player such as myself. But would it be possible along with the best camping spots, it say where they are on the map? because ive gone to these places and some of them i found chairs but they weren’t camping chairs which confused me. Anyways i thought that would be helpful. I did note that some links may be out of dated, but im not sure it could just be me. It was very helpful. To the people above me try going on a different times, sometimes those chairs are open then, and you can sit there for a long time.
