Best camping place in Second Life gets an update
It seems that the best camping spots in SL changes regularly now and so as the list. Last time that I gave a review for Second Life Camping dot com, they were having trouble with the SLURLs since the camping spots changes on a regular basis. They tried to keep up but it seems that even with the update, you just have to try the locations for yourself to make sure.

I see that that inculded an update button, which is a good effort. Maybe they should try to move convert the site into a wikipedia-like site
thank you Chino boy..
your updates are so so very helpful!!
Well, thanks to you, I rarely do camps now :). But it sure is a great help to see some of the best camps in SL.
However, I like hopping, plus just sitting gets way too boring as your seatmates aren’t always willing to chat. Well that or they can’t understand a thing that you’re saying.
Hmm it would be a good idea to put the rates there too… or maybe it’s already there and I’m blind hehe.
Welfare Island has a rate of 3/10, however it requires the invitation of group membership.
Yeah, and mostly they don’t reply to IM’s (lol).
I’ve tried that, but I think they only accept people from certain countries. So yeah, I’m discriminated again (hehe).
It really is an unfair world, even in SL (lol).
Yeah that’s a problem too, as they only accept people from the US. I’m not from the US, though I completed one of the surveys that didn’t require my credit card number and got into the group. I can invite you to the group and you can start camping there if you want ^^
Welfare island reallly sux after a while. Even in the list, they are much better plae to camp in. I even make more using hoppy place than camping
But welfare camping is open to all, cos countries is not an issue. U just need a person to invite u.
As for the survey, I can’t be bother with. Their survey are the same I get to do in earn2life or even the other pts sites that pay in real us$.
Hey there, fellow hopper! (lol)
I enjoy hopping. I get to places where I wouldn’t have thought existed. Well of course there are places that I wouldn’t have normally go to. But Hoppy Pay HUD is just right there, so yeah, you can teleport out of it within seconds.
SL is a happy place
Man, do I sound too cheery?
Its a great opportunity for exploring. Like many people new to SL, I searched on the big map for the little green dots. Those campers brought me to the first places I visited.
Did any of the offers you completed actually give you USD? It seems a bit too good to be true that anyone can just get free money like that… unless they really abuse your credit card that is.
Well, I don’t have a credit card, and most of them require having a credit card. So, no. And even if I do, I don’t think I’d give them the freedom to lurk behind and withdraw from it.
U have join pts site outside second life. They pay in us$ or watever $
But the typically rate are damn low. About us$0.10 per survey although I have encountered survey that pays u as high as us$0.50.
Those who requires u credit card no typically get the higher payout, like us$5 or even us$20 or more. But to me, it is not worth it
Oh I see… hehe the rate drops down dramatically. All the crap on the offers that says $100 per survey are probably entirely false. How do they pay you the money though without a credit card?
Payment is typically in Linden dollars, so the $100 would be to your SL character :)….if the sites are still paying, its instanteous usually. You get the deposit after finishing the survey
I think she is telling about the hippiepay survey. If u have taken a look at them, most of them require you to furnish your credit card number before you can finish the survey. That is why they have typically a higherpay than earn2life, where all their survey does not require a credit card number
Yes I used htem early on in my Second Life, and it was immediately paid out….but I skipped over some like credit checks. They might pay more, but I am unsettled with giving out all that information.
I do not do surveys that require cc. Those are the type of survey u r likely to get with earn2life or FOP or repres anyway. The difference is secondlife pay u lindens, they paid u in real us$
Those very-high pay one which require, u r more likely to spend more on the service u sign up for (which is mostly crap) than earn from those survey u signed up for
I prefer paid-to-post forum (those regularly paying one). They are currently second-highest earning interent activites (outside sl) and is the backbone of my ecurrency revenue for investment in sl commerce activites. They cann pay out to 3 cents per post and the payout can be as low as us$1. So to be honest, I rather post in those forums than in slam-x, when u get a petite 1 to 3 lindens per posts
I am thinking of blogging for money, since chino have shown his sucess story here
Lol in all, these methods are to make SL more enjoyable. You can never earn enough to support a living because of the low exchange rate.
You know what I found a camping site where they pay out 10/30, 30/45 and 15/15. But you’re forced to stand up every 15 min with the 15/15 log seat. You can sit right back again though.
I love hopping! I found the site through it.
What I like most about this place is that it’s quiet there and relaxing with the sounds of birds twittering and fire crackling.
There’s not much traffic in there, so I go there when I get tired of hopping :).
What’s the name of the place?
Magic.
But I think they change the rate everyday because when I went there this morning, there was a log that offered L$2 only every 15 minutes.
And then, there was this one girl, sitting on another log and “Money: L$240″ was written above her head.
I thought she’d stand after a few minutes as she’d earn more than 200 already so I hopped around for a while, but when I got, she was still there. She wouldn’t budge
with the huds out there for anti-idle, those commited campers have to be pushed out before they will go…makes it a bit tough, so keep looking!
UPDATE: I went there again and there’s not even a log to sit on around the fire! Hmmm…
Yeah there are some places that doesn’t offer camping every day. Even if they do, 99% of the time there will be someone on it, and 99% of the time that happens that person will be there for a very long time. The only place that is never full is Welfare Island at 3/10.
Edit: Welfare Island is reducing the $L they’re paying out. Sometimes they don’t pay at all and sometimes they randomly boot people out of the spot. I try to find places that will pay immediately after the timer is reached, instead of paying collectively at the end.

Try to look for United Rastafarians, it’s on the sim Jillette… I sat there for 7 Lindens per 25 minutes! GREAT payout, and unlimitted time!
Great, i’ll try to go there next time i will be online in SL.
Unfortunatelly, i have so few time to play SL, it would be great to find some good campings to earn some linden, i haven’t time to looking for it.
It was a great help, thanks.
if i have time again for camping
