E2L’s business directory will boost your income

Written on April 10th, 2008 by Chino

I’ve been skeptic for a while now with . But after a few research and study on how it will make more linden dollars, it seems like this can be the next big thing.

High traffic means more exposure

Actually, this can be true. With the traffic Earn2Life gets from thousands of residents visiting or using their service daily, any business will surely get an exposure to this amount of traffic.

Cheap skins, shoes, etc… and Commercial Space!

Written on February 10th, 2008 by Chino

I haven’t posted a review this 2008. Now, I guess a discovery is worth sharing for. I found a cheap stuff place for all our newbie Second Lifers out there. Cheap skins, cheap shoes, female clothes, and some kinky-O stuff that I featured way back. However, the most important cheap here is the commercial space per week. Who doesn’t like cheap stuff in Second Life anyway? They’re the next best thing! (free stuff is still the best!)

Cheap Rental Shop

Ranging from 100L$ to 300L$, Those who are serious on starting a business can start cheap. It can be a good start. Then when you’ve got enough resources, you can always transfer to a better spot or location.

Visit the Green Mall here.

Policy on in-world Banks. I say, it’s about time.

Written on January 9th, 2008 by Chino

…without proof of an applicable government registration statement or financial institution charter. Yesterday, Linden Labs posted in their blog regarding the new Banking policy. I say, it’s about time. I’ve lost more than 45,000L$ before in Ginko Financial and after that, I don’t trust banks in-world anymore.

10th and 11th day of Christmas; because of them

Written on December 23rd, 2007 by Chino

My apologies again for not posting yesterday. It has been a very busy and stressful weekend but still, since I owe you all one event, I have to make 2 for today!

Thanks to them sponsors

If it’s not for them, I won’t be able to give lots of free lindens here at Chino Yray Dot Com.

Fed up of HippiePay

Written on December 8th, 2007 by Chino

It’s getting irritating. Second Life is not just for United States. Whenever I search for Free Lindens in-world, (especially in the new search UI of the client) all I see is "HippiePay".

Difficulty in Searching for Free Lindens.

Actually, it is easy for a newbie to go look for free lindens on your first hour in-world. But as time goes by, and finishing all the surveys available for you in the famous HippiePay, it will get harder to look for free lindens since all you’ll see are HIPPIEPAY. With this, even if Casinos were supposedly not allowed, some land owners disguised it through skill games.

From lindens to real money

Written on December 4th, 2007 by Chino

Earlier today, I paid my host 40$ USD from my paypal account to renew my domain. Yes, chinoyray[dot]com 2008-2009. That was also the second time I will use money converted from linden dollars to US dollars to pay for real life goods/services online. (First was when I bought a Need For Speed : Prostreet.)

Changing L$ to US$

One way is from Second Life’s lindeX page. However, since they’re slower than the other services like AnsheX or WIC exchange, I prefer using the latter. Through the sites, I can directly convert my linden dollars to US dollars which will be then automatically paid to my PayPal account. Now that is faster and easier rather than waiting for Linden Labs to send you a check that will take 3 months to liquidate.

President Arroyo inside Second Life

Written on November 26th, 2007 by Chino

In a release by inquirer.net earlier today:

Arroyo activated her virtual self called an “avatar” in the Second Life online video game and community as part of the launch of the Philippine National Innovation Strategy in the National Innovation Summit in Makati.

Remember the survey conducted by First Opinions for IBM? That Virtual IBM Center will be the place where we can visit Madam President according to the news. However, I still have to visit the place to see if I can talk to her! (I hope her laptop is open and SL is running even if she’s going around the country and the world.)

Anyway, it’s either we visit the Virtual Business Center OR check the video of President Arroyo inside Second Life.
