If there’s one interesting thing happening in Second Life right now aside from making free lindens and making money online, it’s the new viewer, conveniently called “Viewer 2“.
I just finished downloading the viewer and right now, I like what I’m seeing so far. There are a few bugs like the sound stream not being disabled and other media that keeps on auto-play. But right now, I’m already excited for the viewer 2 going out of beta phase.

YEAH RIGHT! I say, totally a complete BS at this moment. Why? Because according to them, they don’t have money to use for payments and yet they are still operational and getting lots of advertisers! WTF!

Biggest BS ever that I got from a “Help Desk”! To be exact, here’s the reply that I got back in August 2009.
The only reason for delayed payments is no money to use for payments. Advertisers are now scarce and don’t want to pay. It’s sad.
Now fast forward to November 2009. Earn2Life is still operational with new ads on and an updated classifieds. So who will ever believe that “Advertisers are now scarce and don’t want to pay”!?
Cost-cutting or plainly scamming?
Sad part is, that my July and August 2009 withdrawal of linden dollars are still… PENDING. I still have thousands of available earnings in Earn2Life but now I’m afraid to withdraw them until I receive the previous withdrawals.

There are times that we want to go outside of the Second Life or our virtual counterparts in the MMOs we play. Soon it will be a good time to call on your guilds for an EB or a party and for the Second Life Socialites, definitely there will be a time that you would want to talk about your virtual business iRL.
It’s definitely the time to indulge on Fish & Co.’s fish and chips especially now that they’re giving SPECIAL DEALS and OFFERS in one of the world’s fishy restaurant. (see how “fishy” can sometimes be a good term?)

So I got my hands on a software most content creators and possibly Linden Labs should be blocking soon… CryoLife or simply a 3rd party viewer which is a copybot client.
I was really hesitating if I will blog about this since this site has “free lindens” all over it. I decided I will but I won’t really teach more about it but to tell everyone or every creator out there that a content Pirating Software is out there and they should be careful.
I first heard about it from a friend via SMS yesterday. After a thorough search on the internet / Google, I was able to contact someone who has it via Windows Live and asked him to send the viewer to me.
Also, don’t ask me to send the software to you since I won’t. I won’t share it due to the respect to my advertisers and those who orders review for this blog or simply say, content creators.
…almost done and it’s oooozing with awesomeness! The finished RX78 Gundam’s pictures are now emerging over the net and I can’t help but host some of them. So now, who wants to go to Japan? The Gundam is in North Shiokaze park and of course, here are the pictures.

I’ve seen it all over the news now. The Philippine Department of Tourism and MTV Network’s international campaign called Awesome Philippines has created an island inside Second Life. Of course, being one of the people blogging about Second Life here in my country, I AM PROUD.
It has only been a year since I started traveling around the country and being able to see its beauty with the help of the company I am working in right now. Anyway, I can’t just keep the beauty of this home country of mine to myself so I’m really glad that everyone I know in Second Life that lives outside the Philippines can now have a glimpse of the Philippines.

So far, I’ve tried searching for it inside Second Life and found nothing. I guess the island is so new and not yet accessible by the public. Once I got the chance to visit it virtually, I’ll take some screenshots.
To name a few, well, almost everything that works with Vista and XP will and definitely should work with Windows 7. However, not everybody knows that Rohan Online or Perfect World does work with Windows 7.
What do I do if my game did not work with Win 7?
First is to run your game in compatibility mode.
Running your game in Vista or XP Sp2 mode will do.
What if running in compatibility mode did not solve the problem?
Right now, any game that has a GameGuard Hackshield on it, like most mmorpg, has an issue with Windows 7. If changing the compatibility mode did not help, I suggest you wait for the official release of Windows 7.
This new OS is currently in its Beta1 stage and it will take a year to get it to the final version. Playing in Vista or XP is still currently the best thing to do.
