Earlier, I rushed into a clinic because I’m having a hard time breathing. It seems that I just don’t have broncho pneumonia but it’s my asthma again. This time, my set of lungs is a lot weaker.

The doctor tested my breathing and obliged me to get a chest x-ray for my check up again next week. After finding out that the air that pass through my lungs is not enough or the air I breathe isn’t enough, she now requires me to take steroids for my lungs!

Prednisone

On the left is the picture of prednisone. Which is according to Wikipedia:

“Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug that is usually taken orally but can be delivered by intramuscular injection and can be used for a great number of different conditions. It has a mainly glucocorticoid effect. Prednisone is a prodrug that is converted by the liver into prednisolone, which is the active drug and also a steroid.”

After my illness, I would like to get back to posting regularly again. I miss blogging already. I just hope that I can get well soon.

It’s pretty obvious that one way of earning money online for me is Google’s Adsense. You can see plenty of Google’s Ads throughout this blog and it gives a quite amount of extra money for a college student like me. As other bloggers say, making money online through blogging started with Google’s Adsense.

Google’s Terms for Adsense

Last month, Google revised their terms of agreement not just with Adsense publishers but with other web tools they service as well. In order for me to publish Google Ads, ChinoYray.com now has a Privacy Policy. Actually, there really should be a Privacy Policy on every blog on the internet in the first place. Even more to those who allow subscribing through email.

6 days ago, I wrote about Second Life Addiction. This is due to the fact that the signs there is actually happening to me and to some friends. I myself have realized that parts of my First Life is being neglected because of such addiction. Recently I advised to a friend that she should uninstall the Second Life client in order for her to focus on her 1st life. But what constitutes Second Life Addiction?

Signs that you are addicted to Second Life

1. You’re in-world almost 8-12 hours a day or more than 16 hour a week. Unless your main income of real life money is SL as well.

2. You’re willing to camp for linden dollars even it’s actually like working in real life (RL) only that you’re so underpaid. (RL job pays 1$/hour or 300L$/hour while SL camping pays ONLY 40L$/hour which is not even 1$ in RL)

3. You dream of SL in your sleep.

4. You’d rather spend your time with friends in-world rather than your 1st life friends. There’s nothing wrong spending time online though since every emotions you feel in-world is what your RL persona feels.

After the punishment google gave me back in January this year from PageRank(PR) 4 to PR 0, the effects of it are very evident. I’ve got lesser review orders ever since and lesser ad proposals.

Cause of the Punishment

It is pretty obvious why my blog is punished. This is because of my monthly Wicked Blog Contest wherein part of the contest is to link to the contest post and this blog. Another is the text-link-Ads which Google really did announce that selling links will just merit you a flag on their system.

Earlier, Torley Linden announced the new first look client for Second Life called "Dazzle". This may not have something to do with earning free linden dollars but this is as interesting as free lindens for me.

This new UI change for SL is something that pleases my eyes and it also goes well with Vista’s Aero theme. This somehow gives me the feeling that Second Life is an internet browser in 3D.

I guess you have to try it yourself to really feel the difference.
