"Spamming groups inside Second Life will only turn people off." Andy Evans, CEO of First Opinions sent this message a while ago to people who are actively earning money for their Affiliate Program.
I totally agree with this point. I remember residents from "Filipino" group telling me that they don’t want some individual in the group because they always send spam. Same goes to "Avilion Order"– a medieval group. They’ve been sharing to me their experience on group spammers and thanking me because I don’t do this on their group.
Spamming will just ruin your reputation
One thing I am sure is, if you plan to make money from Affiliate Programs such as First Opinion’s "earn 100L$ per successful membership",

It’s very promising and they just deliver on what they did announce. Slam-X withdrawals of the free lindens we get from them are now automatic. I experienced this first hand because for this week, they just gave me 700L$ in 2 different automatic cash out.

My total Slam-X earning as of today is 4,289L$ which is basically from their affiliate program and the free lindens they give everytime you make an activity on their site. 4,289L$ may not be as big as what I get from First Opinions’ affiliate program and Earn2Life’s but with Slam-X still in pre-launch and is yet to be officially launch, they are quite promising.

Last week they announced that they will update SLAM-X which will then enables automatic withdrawals and some features that needs to be polished. Today, the re-opened in light version and I think the automatic weekly withdrawal will attract more people to go Slam with them.

Hi, for all of you that were wondering what had happened to SLAM-X - we have reopened, following our scheduled downtime, with a “light version” of the same site and forum.
We are still in the process of working on SLAM-X improvements, automation, content, new features and our ATM’s. While this work is taking place however the main site is being reopened. During this time referral fees, automatic withdrawals and all general accounting features will work exactly as they did before. The primary difference for members to be aware of is that most forum content and site features will be limited or unavailable as work is continuing.
Members with questions need only post in the SLAM X Café and someone will be able to address those questions for you.
All new features, account automation, developments with ATM’s, or available content will be posted or explained in the news and announcement sections, so please keep an eye on those areas. For any other questions – just ask
Withdraw weekly even if you don’t want to withdraw
As announced also by Slam-X, withdrawals are now automatic. So you don’t need to ask for a withdrawal since your money will go automatically now to your Second Life account.
When you qualify for each individual level – Standard – Bronze – Silver – Gold - Platinum – Then you will be automatically paid each week based on amounts held in your accounts, and whatever pay level you qualify for.
EXAMPLE:
You have lets say L$250 in your account that you earned from posting, referring others, or some other form of in-world activity. The fact that you are actively contributing, then you would be paid L$100 per week automatically paid to your in-world account, provided you had the L$100 in there each week.
If you had say L$6200 in your account, this would place you at Bronze level, and provided you remained active – which would keep those balances going up, then you would receive L$1000 per week paid in-world.
And so on – through the various stages.
