How to get LOTS of Apprentice for Earn2Life?

Written on March 3rd, 2010 by Chino

Hello Everyone!

First off, I would like to give thanks to Glaznah, owner of Earn2Life for reading my blog and his concern on my issue. Thanks Glaznah for the email and the resolution on my past issue with Earn2Life.

Anyway, I’m writing again for I’m very happy and got the motivation to give update to those who really love making LOTS of Free Lindens in Second Life. Imagine, after I logged in to E2L today, I discovered that I have a total of L$53,479.00 and it’s because E2L has finally implemented (after years) their Master Contest or basically help-your-apprentice-make-lindens-so-you-make-lindens-too.

What is the Master’s Contest?

Basically, the gist of this is to get Second Life residents to sign-up via your Earn2Life referral link and make them your apprentices. Sounds easy right? But not really that easy since sometimes, people are so selfish, they will not sign-up via your E2L link (ex. http://www.earn2life.com/process/join.html?chinoyray )

For more details on the Master’s Contest go here. Make sure you’re a member of Earn2Life first so you can make L$1,000.00 free lindens everyday like me.

An apprentice messaged me about the same topic and here’s a part of her message:

From Halley Ember:

basically I’m having trouble getting appentices. I recruit them, I give them my link and have them join via my team thing, but even after they join they’re not counted as my apprentices.

Having problem in getting apprentices?

If there’s one tip I can share to everyone on this problem then the only tip I am sure that will make it work for you is that… COMPLETE THE OFFERS FIRST BEFORE INVITING SOMEONE or MAKE LINDENS FIRST SO YOU CAN CONVINCE SOMEONE TO JOIN.

How the hell can you convince someone to join if you yourself is not making any linden dollars? E2L has lots of programs such as Pay4Visit and Pay4Picks.

I’m not mad to you Halley Ember or something but in reality, the best way to get an apprentice for your free lindens quest is to make sure that you can show them proof that you really are making money in Second Life. That way, the next time you give your E2L link to a resident, they will be willing to sign-up through that link since they will be sure that someone out there can help them make lots of linden dollars.

Human Guardian Build for Rohan Online

Written on February 27th, 2009 by Chino

We’ve been playing Rohan Online since August 2008 in its and recently, Level-Up! Inc. has launched its in Closed Beta Testing.

Now we want to share on how to allocate those stat points and where to put the skill points for the Human – Guardian Knight build. I myself have been playing a Dekan character since the start and I only started using a Guardian Knight last December.

Guardian Knight Build

I’m using a dual-wield Guardian Knight with a sword as the main weapon and a dagger in place of the shield. Remember as well that if you want your Guardian Knight to wield 2 weapons, the dagger should be in place of the shield slot.

Anyway, my stat has been distributed to 3 STR: 1 VIT every level.

3 STR: 1 VIT build gives me enough strength to deal damage and the VIT, of course, gives me HP and defense.

Skill Point Distribution

As for the skills, here’s how I distributed them.

5 Frozen

1 Taunt

5 Rising Might

5 Sharpen Blade

1 Invoke

Only to those skills. Yes. I only distributed 17 points out of 50 in the Knight class. I saved the other 33 for the Guardian Skills which are the following. For the Frozen, I chose Frozen since it slows down monsters and other players.

5 Sword Mastery

1 Taunt Roar

5 Rush

5 Crazy Strength

1 Final Crash

5 Crazy Standing

1 Blue Drain

5 Order

5 Heavy Weapon

5 Crit Aura

1 Roha’s Blessing

5 Knight Symbol

5 Stone Skin

These skills gives me superb offensive power and at the same time defense to survive most of the PVE and PVP attacks.

If you think I can improve this build farther, feel free to leave a comment and hopefully you learned something here.

Thanks.

Games that work with Windows 7

Written on January 22nd, 2009 by Chino

If you’re a gamer, there will always be this question in your mind whenever a new OS comes out..

Will my favorite work with this ?

To name a few, well, almost everything that works with Vista and XP will and definitely should work with Windows 7. However, not everybody knows that or does work with Windows 7.

What do I do if my game did not work with Win 7?

First is to run your game in compatibility mode.

games-win7

Running your game in Vista or XP Sp2 mode will do.

What if running in compatibility mode did not solve the problem?

Right now, any game that has a GameGuard Hackshield on it, like most , has an issue with Windows 7. If changing the compatibility mode did not help, I suggest you wait for the official release of Windows 7.

This new OS is currently in its Beta1 stage and it will take a year to get it to the final version. Playing in Vista or XP is still currently the best thing to do.

Windows 7 Beta – FAQ

Written on January 9th, 2009 by Chino

January 7, 2009 – 6:30pm (PST), Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced that the public beta for Windows 7 will be available by January 9, 2009.

However, of course, as I write this entry, it’s only 2am of January 9 right now there in Microsoft. So for those who are asking information about the release of windows 7, here’s a FAQ for Windows 7 Public Beta Release today.

What time will the Windows 7 download be available?

The Public Beta Download will be available in the afternoon of January 9, 2009 (PST – Pacific Standard Time). To check the current time right now where Microsoft is located, go here. Just check for the Seattle Time Zone.

Where can I download Windows 7?

On January 9th (today), the Windows 7 Beta will be available for Windows enthusiasts to download via the Windows 7 page on Windows.com. The Windows 7 Beta is going to be available download-only and available for a limited time to the first 2.5 million people who download the beta.

I use Vista or XP, can I upgrade from there?

The Windows 7 Beta only supports Windows Vista SP1 to Windows 7 upgrades. So if you intend to do an upgrade – be sure it is on a PC running Windows Vista with Service Pack 1.

How about the requirements for Windows 7?

Simply put, if your PC can run Windows Vista, Windows 7 will run in it and even better.

Also, keep in mind that this is still a BETA software. It’s not advisable to use this as your main OS. Most of all, Windows 7 Beta will expire on August 1, 2009.

Rohan Online – Tutorial Zone

Written on December 19th, 2008 by kahto

Greetings! My name is Kahto, a mage from Montt city. I’m here today to teach you about the tutorial zone.

The tutorial zone is the best place for a newbie to learn the basics of playing the game. It will teach you about using your inventory, talking to NPCs, trading with NPCs, and killing monsters.

You will start in the Hall of Revelation. Approach the blue orb in front of you and with the right click button, click the blue orb to talk to the Light of Revelation. The Light of Revelation will teach you about using your inventory and will give pointers about questing. You will receive 2 novice health potions and 2 novice mana potions when you’re done reading. Continue to the next blue orb to learn more about hunting monsters. Your first real quest will be killing a young varg that can be found just outside of the Hall of Revelation. Don’t forget to equip your weapon by opening your inventory and double-clicking the weapon in your bag or dragging the weapon from your inventory to your weapon slot in the character window. Young vargs are easy to kill and will only take 2-3 hits. Also, don’t forget to pick up the crones and equipments that the monster will drop when they die.

Proceed to the Teacher of Progress (Skill) after killing 1 young varg. You will get a reward for completing your first quest. The Teacher of Progress (Skill) can be found northwest of the first chamber. It will teach you how to increase the level of your skills. Move forward and talk to the next blue orb NPC, the Teacher of Progress (Stat).

The next part of the tutorial area will teach you more about trading, forging and refining equipments. The first NPC you will encounter is the Teacher of Trade. This NPC will teach you about NPC trading. It will also show you the icons that represent different merchant NPCs when you open your map.

Let’s continue with the next NPC, The Knowledge of Forging. Forging has three kinds: Weapon forging, armor forging and potion mixing(alchemy). Forging is available to all players and doesn’t require additional fees. The NPC will reward you with 3 types of weapons and 2 for each type. By talking to the master weaponsmith, you will be able to forge using the materials given to you.

We move on to the Teacher of Refine. Refining is a technique that lowers the requirements of equipments, excluding accessories. There are two types of refining: Level refining and Stat refining. If you choose to refine your freshly-made weapon, talk to the Level Refiner. You can reduce your equipments level by 1, 2 or 3 levels. The price will depend on the option you choose. You can also talk to the Status Refiner but since your weapon has no stat requirement you can’t use it right now.

The final part of the tutorial zone involves killing. The first NPC you’ll see is the Light of Split Path. This NPC will give you a quest depending on your race. Humans, Elves, Half Elves, Dark Elves, Giants and Halflings will have a different path from Dhans and Dekans.

Your next quest is to find the Teacher of Battle Strategy. The Teacher of Battle Strategy will teach you about the monster kill bonus experience. Monster kill or M.kill indicates the number of monsters you have hunted. The M.kill bonus experience is an additional experience award you will get for every 20 monsters hunted. Your first task is to kill ten young vargs and 10 young imps. After that, return to the Teacher of Battle Strategy to receive a new task. This time you will have to kill 10 more monsters. Submit the Proof of a Swift Hunter to the Light of Dispatch.

The Light of Dispatch will award you newbie accessories, adventurer’s talisman and a fishing pole that will help you with your adventures outside the tutorial zone. This ends your adventures in the Hall of Revelation. You can go outside by talking to the Gatekeeper of Hall of Revelation.

This concludes my lecture about the Tutorial Zone. Your journey to the world of Rohan will lie on your choices and your dreams will start to unfold.

Rohan Online – Character Creation

Written on December 19th, 2008 by gakinohime

As promised, here are the steps with screenies on character creation.

Since I have already posted stuff about how to get inside the game, I’ll start with this screen – character selection/creation.  This time, click on the <Create> button.

You will then have this screen after you click on the <Create> button.  Click on the image of the character you wanna create and then click on the <Next> button.  I’ve selected Human (male)  for this tutorial.  The image/character you selected gets highlighted after you click on it.

You may now choose your desired Face and Hair for your character.  Click on the <Next> button when done and you’re back to the character selection/creation screen.

Here’s a video on character creation as well.

Enjoy!

Rohan Online – How to get inside the Game

Written on December 18th, 2008 by gakinohime

Some of you might be curious on how to get inside the game so I’ve posted here the steps and screenies for each step.

First, click this RohanOnline icon on your desktop.

And then it will load this screen.  In this stage; the system will scan the game files, check for new patches and optimize data.  The <Play>button is enabled as soon as its done with the process.  Click on it when you’re ready to play the game.

GameGuard will do its thing, securing the game, after you click on the <Play> button.

After GameGuard had made sure that everything’s OK, the next image that you will see is the YNK screen.  YNK is the developer of Rohan Online.

This is the log in screen.  Just enter your ID and Password and click on the <Login> button.  You may opt to tick the <SaveID> box if you don’t like typing your username everytime you log in.

After the server has authenticted the account info you’ve provided, it will then ask you to choose your server.  Rohan International has 5 servers: Torian, Silva, Syrephis, Marea and Ahkma. Click your desired server and then click on the <Confirm> button.

Then you will see one of Rohan Online’s loading screens.

You will see character selection next.  Just click on the character you wanna play (it will move forward after you click on it displaying the basic character information as well) and then click on the <Start> button.

And then another loading screen.

And Voila!  You’re now inside the game!

My Level 30 Healer

I will be posting about character creation soon so stay tuned!

Rohan Online – The Newbie Journey

Written on December 17th, 2008 by gakinohime

I was told to finish the tutorial because aside from learning a lot about the game and the different NPCs,  I’d get a lot of freebies after the tutorial most especially the talisman which could give me a 20% EXP boost for 8 hours.  I’d also have reached level 10 by the time I got out of the tutorial zone.

Since Chino’s character was a Dekan, meaning a damager, I wanted a “support” character so I could help him out. So my first character was a Human would be Defender.  I took the tutorial, got into level 10, did some quests, and I got bored.  I was even thinking that time that Rohan’s kinda not so nice.  I deleted this character.

And then I opted for a Dark Elf would be Wizard. I loved it.  I realized that I was more into wands and gowns than swords.  Dark Elves wore gowns.  I took the tutorial again, got into level 10 and partied with Chino’s Dekan.  And then I realized that even though playing a  Dark Elf character was cool, it didn’t feel good to be a damager too; I wanted to help Chino.  So I gave up this character as well.  Enough for gowns.

Finally, I created an Elf would be Priest.  I also enjoyed playing this character because it was a wand-user one.  Character build was 3 psy and 1 vit per level.  Yes, a very dedicated full support healer in the making.  So I took the tutorial and made it to level 10 and graduated in Vena.  I often referred to this town as vena sausage because I happened not to like this town that much, that with its small bridges.  An FYI to those RF Online players out there, the female elf would surely give Cora’s female a run for her money.  Really.  Just click on the dance emoticon and you’d know.

Did I ever get tired of the tutorial? No.  As I’ve already mentioned, it wasn’t boring.  I still got lost around it and it seemed like there was always something new to expore.

kahto will be posting about the tutorial soon so stay tuned!

This is kahto’s character in Rohan Online.  A level 1 Dark Elf would be Wizard.
