How can Twitter and the "Buy me" Wordpress Plugin help in blogging
Buy me Coffee through PayPal
It has been some weeks now since I added the Buy me a Coffee plugin on this blog. So far, a few bought me coffee and several for my future dates. I realized that if these people who bought me coffee here does own a blog or site, I guess I’ll thank them in a way they will love.
That means starting today, those who bought me coffee by using the feature found on the sidebar or at the bottom of every post, will be mentioned in my blog posts. Those who own blogs or websites can contact me after buying me coffee, so that I can give a linkback to you guys.
Twitter Updates of What I do in the 1st Life
There’s another additional feature as well on the sidebar. This is the Twitter widget. Sometimes, RL eats up my time for Second Life. So for those who are always curious, you can check the Twitter on my sidebar or follow my Twitter.
How can these features help in blogging?
Simple. The Buy Me Coffee is pretty obvious. It may or may not generate money but so far, it did give me 18$ USD. So I thank the anonymous person (he doesn’t want to be named) who sent me 12$. I wonder what’s on his mind. LOL.
The Twitter, it is more likely to generate more people checking out my site and in the end give additional traffic. Though, I still have to prove the effectiveness of Twitter.

Welcome to Twitter Chino! I’ve started following you now. I’ve been on it since November and I think it’s a great tool. The key is to build up lots of followers by keeping your status updated with interesting information. Also go out and actively start following other people with the same interests as you and they will start following you too.
There are lots of people on Twitter who are also on SL so just mention the words Second Life and Free Lindens and they’ll start to pick you up. You can track those keywords as well so that when other people mention them you hear about it.

Follow other people and they will follow you. Then when you update your blog tell them about it and some of them will visit.
