Missing Avatar
I received an email from Andrew Mallon or should I say, Andy Evans (SL name) that "Chino Yalin" (yes, me in Second Life) is missing in the search. I logged in and find out that my account has been disabled by Linden Lab. For what reason, I don’t know yet.
I filed a ticket to their support and hopefully clear this thing out. So this will surely cause some delay to the prizes that I have to give to my valuable readers by November 2.
In other Second Life news
Torley introduced in his blog the new user interface for the Second Life Client. Hmm… maybe I should ask Torley as well as to why my account has been disabled.
If you liked this post, buy me a coffee. (Suggested: 3$ for a Caffè Mocha or 6$ if ever I have a date.)

When I searched for your name in the search engine one or two weeks ago, it wasn’t there, however obviously your avatar was accessible. Hopefully it’s another bug (along with the millions of other bugs…) with LL.
Maybe you are you under investigation by Linden Labs! lol
investigated for earning money? LOL
Investigated for being more successful at marketing than they are lol.
This calls into question if they ever extracted the ’successful gene’ out of Chino’s avatar. Chino, what horrible experiments did they conduct? And for that matter, is the ‘Essence of Chino’ as fun as liquid high-speed? (You may have to know the Comcast Digital Cable commercials to understand that.)
Lost: Cartoon character. Goes by the alias “Chino Yalin.” Last seen by various cartoon figures in fantasy world known as Second Life. A missing person’s ‘ticket’ has been filed with Linden Labs, however time is of the essence, as many newbies in search of magically appearing lindens await his return with baited breath. Any and all information as to the whereabouts of this delightful character greatly appreciated!
*Giggles* Yet another adorable comment. There should be more broadcasts about Chino; it would make a popular series.
This is not done ! Something like this would have happened with soo many more people….i guess such things cannot be tolerated…L.L needs more people work properly and not play SL while at job
Enjoy

Maybe someone can ask for help on the CSI:NY sim!
[...] a side note, it seems that Chino is missing an avatar. Any help in locating his avatar will be appreciated. #arkayne { clear: both; }_title = [...]
Holy crap Chino, that sux! I hope it’s nothing and you get it worked out quickly. I’d be upset if I couldn’t get into SL! Best of luck.
REZpecfully yours,
Ahkums Razor
chino, i can access your profile through my friends list, but not through search…i am more likely to believe that it is a random SL bug, just like the missing images that appeared on my magazine…:(((
anyway, can’t wait to collaborate with you for the next issue! whoohoo!! sponsored parties!! :-))
Garry Linden contacted me already. They will reactivate my account now. LOL
Nice one linden labs!
Gee I wonder why all the staff’s last names are “Linden”… are they that united xD
It is to help keep track of who is a clone or the like. Be careful of Agent Linden, though- I hear he can screw up your scripts like no other weapon. Thankfully, Chino is about to free our minds.
maybe they read your blog and couldnt stand sooo many people going against them..

tsk tsk tsk.
well anyway, Patience is a virtue :)))))
I hope to meet ya soon ChinoBoy
For some reason… I got the impression Torley was a girl. At least the avatar images point in that direction, but many female avatars have male users, so meh.
As for the Dazzle Project… Blue is not much of a difference compared to grey, in my opinion. And while I understand the need to keep things interesting, I find a greater need in keeping things running smoothly.
Which leads to your missing avatar. As noted in a later blog, you were disabled because of a mysterious $25.00 charge. While thankfully you can pass it off, they should have given you much more detail. What was it for? When was it charged? And other such information.
[...] know. I know. I’m long overdue because of the hassle linden labs gave me by disabling my account. But I think that doesn’t matter anymore. I have to give my faithful readers what they [...]
[...] Lab seems to be punishing us for something we did not do. 1st my account - Chino Yalin then even Samantha’s account - Cynara Cortes (SL name) too!? That’s already below the [...]
congrats to Torley on the launching of his blog.
Aye, through all the negativity with Chino’s avatar, we did forget the advance of one good Linden. Many congrats to Torley, a staff member who does not only make discussion appearances.
And naturally, I could be wrong about the other staff- I just see Torley more often than, say, Philip.
