Personally I like the idea of item camping and getting an item for free after a certain amount of time.. only if you really like the item of course ^_^ Overall I guess it leaves most people very frustrated, feeling like camping takes up too much time for too little of a payout. I've read some very passionate threads about it from both sides. The objectors hate camping because they say it puts a strain on the sim and serves no purpose for the resources it uses. Advocates appreciate camping as a way for newbies to earn some Lindens. Personally, I tried camping a few times but I was never happy with the results. Not enough Lindens for the effort (finding a place that's open and doesn't have a boot limit, joining the group, etc.).
