Making money and linden dollars away from the PC
I’ve been sick for a while now. Wasn’t able to post about free lindens for a while and even about making money through blogging. However, as I checked just now, it seems that even if I am gone, I’m still making money.
How do I earn money even if I’m gone?
1. Build a blog!
It sounds simple but it isn’t. Building a blog is not just registering to your favorite blogging host and then let it sit there and wait for readers to come. Blogging doesn’t work that way. Why would someone visit your blog if they’re not interested in it? Why would someone read it if what they’re looking is not there?
Your posts and your content is what makes your blog a blog.
2. Focus
You can post anything, whenever and whatever you want. However, if you’re serious that you really want to make money from blogging, focus on one topic. For example, my blog is about free lindens. This way, people all over the world who are into Second Life can find free lindens here at my blog. I maybe posting non-free linden related posts from time to time but it’s like 80% of the posts here is about Second Life and Free Lindens. This way, more and more people will be coming back for your blog if they find use for your posts.
3. Monetize Properly
I’ve been through a lot of re-designing and rearrangement of Ads for this blog. Always check where and what ads works best. Placement of the Advertisements are important. For me, I put them on the top and on the side where every visitor can see them once they instantly reach the blog. The other Ads are placed at the end of a post just to make sure that they might be interested once they finished reading my posts. This way, I maximize the potential of the ads.
4. Experiment and Review
Always experiment with your posts, design and review them. This way, even if you’re away somewhere, went to a vacation, you can make sure that your blog will still perform and maximize its potential for making money.

Blogging is a lot of work. Entering it requires time and seriousness too:) I admire you for that:)
Nice advice on blogging. I learned it the hard way - you need good unique content.
I have trouble on deciding what to write about, it’s hard to choose something and stick to it, so I have my blog as a personal.. blog, maybe portfolio if I can pay a real domain. >_> also my google adds are always irrelevant to my content.
