I visited SecondLifeCamping.com earlier and it seems like they totally overhauled their site. But hey! They’re still the best at what they do… which is provide a list of camping spots in SL.

See the thing about me is that I’m kind of selfish and keep my favorite camping spots secret hehe. But anyways, thanks for the post. At the moment Glamour Puss is paying out more then $95. I saw several people with over $100 floating above their heads. All in all a great post and wonderfully helpful. Oh and instead of posting again I’ll get keep it here. Thanks for the post about earn2life. I’m only a casual player so the money I make from there is enough for me not to really have to camp or work. Keep up the great posting!

Oh, I can totally appreciate that. In fact, I will admit that I am bad about sharing Chino’s blogs with my friends because of the commentator competition. I feel I balance the selfishness out by generously showing them the Fabuously Free blog.

Yeah, I visited this place recently, and the camping spots are accurate. For whats its worth though, the camping spaces are popular, so you’ll have a hard time finding a place to sit when you get there.
Don
Don’t get discouraged though, cause this list makes it easy to move on to the next one.

Yes, that definitely is the downer about these places- they have the highest payout, and therefore there is automatically competition. Tack on that they get blogged about, and you multiply the number of people trying to get a spot. Hence, why I am secretive about my spots.

And when you find a good place it usually doesn’t last very long! That’s why the list site is so helpful though. Keeps us up to date on the new ones. When I was camping alot I had about 10 places landmarked all the time and I’d keep changing them as they came and went. That way I could hit them all quickly and settle somewhere.

Yeah… i agree with you. Sometimes i find some camping places, but none is well payed, much time there for so few linden. This list can help us, because Chino is saying those camping places are well payed, or better payed than some that i knew before, while i was exploring.

Nice Kalib. I’m a RPG lover, too. In SL i try all kind of RPs, i can’t spend much time there, but while i’m online, i like to play RPs.

We have to meet there. My SL name is Sheena Sawson

While I do not RP much on this name, I am a major RPer in a dark RP sim. Not only is it difficult to find time to make money, but some of the items or clothes to dress-up with are so expensive.

If people are curious, take a peek at the URL I have attached here. It will take you to the forum website of the RP I am involved in.

Hey Treb, I love RPG games in RL on my PC and my PSP but I’ve never tried any in SL. How does it work? Can you point a newbie in a direction to check out some of them? Thanks.

I’m also a RPG lover. You can RP everything, or simulate all kind of situtions in SL, you just need to have some people that agree with your idea and wants to play with you.
I found a specific RP scenario, but i didn’t memorize the place.

Thanks for your advice, but i never tryed that. Perhaps i never thought about it, because when i’m playing, i usually focus to talk and chat most of the time. I prefer to be in place with many people to meet new people and talk, talk, talk… btw, i love to talk.
kalib i added you to my contacts list, i hope to talk with you soon.

I have a question. Impretty new to SL, and cant really understand how you could make enough from camping. Is it that you just leave your pc on all night or when your away just to make the L$? Maybe Im just too impatient.

Generally, yes, when you’re done SL’ing for awhile, plop down on a camping poseball and you’ll make some Lindens. Many people leave their Avatar camping while they go off to work in RL. You’re not going to make alot camping, and you do need patience. But if you just do it every day, it can add up.

I was reading an interesting article on camping in SL Inworld today.

Here is part of that post…
“Most camping stands that I saw paid 2L per 10min, that’s 12 L per hour, 288L per day, 2,016 per week, and 10,483 per year…..now for the 22 campers I saw, that’s costing the sim owner about 230k a year. ”

check it out at http://www.slinworldtoday.com/wordp/?p=1340

Its an interesting insight on some SL stuff just like this blog!
