Thinking of a contest for February - Wicked Blog Contest
Today, LadySL confirmed her identity for her 6000L$ prize from January’s Wicked Blog contest and already sent her the lindens. Congratulations again Lady and have fun with the 6000L$ free lindens.
A different contest
Maybe because of my recent sickness, I can’t really think straight or get any idea for a unique contest this month. So instead, I’ll let you guys think of a good contest for me and make it a contest too.
What the hell Chino! What do you mean?
It just simply means that February’s Wicked Blog contest is suggest a good contest for my blog and the contest I will choose will be the winner. How’s that? You write a suggestion in your blog, contact me and send the link to your blog post.
A more detailed explanation
This is a blog contest and named as Wicked Blog Contest so this means, your entry should be posted in your blog. What will you write? A suggestion of what Wicked Blog Contest I can do for next month.
Example:
Chino Yray or Chino Yalin, who’s been crazy enough to give free lindens through his contests and earn free lindens from his blog should have like a contest for his email subscribers. Like search Chino Yray Dot Com and locate the post where he wrote that he get sex proposals.
As you can also see in the example, there are links. No need to directly link to this specific post, as long as you link to my free lindens page but if you don’t want to link to my free lindens page, then you should link to this contest post. At least one link is required to be able to qualify.
The Prizes! 4000L$ and 2000L$
Yes! Prizes!!! I’ll be picking one entry that will be the best and most unique idea that I will use for next month’s contest. Also, one entry in random so that you can earn even more free lindens from this contest. That would be 2000L$ for the random pick and 4000L$ for the best entry! So happy posting!

I began to criticize, not being rude, the bloggers that just made a blog to try to earn Chino’s blog contest. I found here, some bloggers with a default background and just one entry there.
My opinion is, if you want to create a blog, build it, because you like, not just to earn the contest and the lindens dollars.
Sheena I must say I started my blog due to Chino’s contest but I have continued it to now share with my other SL friends what I have been doing. Plus it is fun just to ramble on sometimes. So while my blog is new and I am trying to earn L$ to do things in SL (like decorate my condo) I still enjoy playing the contests here and other places and learning more about SL as I go. I am glad Chino gave me the info I needed to get going!
Welcome here Kriti… I was watching your blog and it’s great, very personalized, i like that. I have criticized some bloggers because their intentions about a creation of a blog just for this contest. I just criticized some of them, who doesn’t improve it’s blog and just post there an entry for Chino’s contest.

Yeah… I like to explore the blogs when they are great. And your is very good, personalized and you just didn’t it for the Chino’s contest. I like that… keep your good work.
I also believe you use too much the “using the default background” That’s too subjective, the way it looks shouldn’t be judged as much as the content.
Erewhon, my native language isn’t english. My english isn’t good enough, that’s why i repeat many times the same words and sentences.
I mean with “using the default Background” is, some people that create a blog just for Chino’s contest, they just do the entry there, they don’t personalize nothing more. All appearance stay with default settings. I found few blogs in January’s contest all equals, the same default settings in all of them.
Hi. This is my first time posting, although I have had an email subscription to this great site for a while now.
I just wanted to say that I’ve found this site extremely helpful and interesting. I read this post today about SL blogs and it seemed like fun so I just created one and made my first entry. Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with this contest because I don’t have a great idea at the moment, but I’ll be sure to post if I can think of one.

Your blog is great, because you personalized it, with your backgrounds of your choice, i mean, you some personality of your blog.
I saw some people here, just to win the contest, they construct a new blog, only for the contest, not any kind of improvement. Then i saw some blogs with the background default and other things… resuming, i saw some blogs all equals from diferent people where the only diference was what they wrote there.
For it, i prefer not construct a blog.
Blogs are suppposed to represent yourself. Maybe their blogs started for the sole motivation of participating on a contest, but if they keep updating, it doesn’t matter if they have default themes and stuff, what they write it’s more important that how it looks!
Okay Erewhon, I agree with your words but…
I don’t believe that some bloggers that began their blogs because Chino’s Wicked Blog Contest and have default settings, will improve it. Their blogs will be alive while Chino pays good linden dollars in his Blog Contests, if Chino stops to give money for it, almost all blogs created specially for that will die.
Where can i get a free blog?
Blogger (blogspot.com) and WordPress are two options popularly used among the SL community. Live Journal has been around for awhile, along with its counterpart Dead Journal. All are free qith their own options and quirks.

Btw, how do you ’send’ lindens?
Chino send the lindens to you by SL, but first he needs to know your SL full name, then he’ll transfer the prize to your player in SL.
you can left click on an avi and then use the pie menu to send/pay them I am happy to allow you to practice by sending to me L$ ROFL…seriously it is not hard to do and then you get the money in your SL L$ account.
