Two paid surveys in one day

It’s amazing to see competing research panels release a survey on the same day. When I open up my email today, First Opinions and Market Truths have a survey for us. 500L$ flat pay for Market Truths and 100L$ to 1000L$ for First Opinions Panel.

Then another email came, it’s from Earn2Life. Saying that even in Second Life is in maintenance, you can still earn money from them.

Wow offerings to start a new day after the maintenance huh?

If you liked this post, buy me a coffee. (Suggested: 3$ for a Caffè Mocha or 6$ if ever I have a date.)

The FOP e-mail said that they would give “$100L to $100 (us dollars).
Only some people qualify for the 100$ focus group.

The relevant details:

EVERYONE who takes this survey will be entered to WIN one of the dozen L$1000 prizes. Try it!

If you match the target profile of our client, you will be invited into an exclusive focus group meeting in Second Life which pays $100!

Yep. That’s all the I’ve gotten from FOP so far. Two chances to win money by taking a survey (one for $500 and the other, yesterday, for $1000).

Keywords are “if you match”. It’s all about your profile. I wonder if some specific groups of people will ever get the chance to be chosen for a client. Depends, I suppose. It seems a little like most of their clients are geared toward one area, but I wouldn’t know.

It all depends on who’s the company that needs to survey people. FOP is a serious survey company. They existed in real life first (based in New York) before coming in Second Life.

So most likely, since companies have target markets, FOP surveys its members based on the target market the company is aiming for.

Of course. I’m just suspecting that there are certain groupings that have very few companies going for them, so opportunities for those are very rare. Others are probably in high demand.

My friend qualified for the actual 100$ focus group. I will not disclose any details though, for I know it is classified.

hope I win at least one of the 1000L drawings :P
