Why Cynara Cortes as well?
Linden Lab seems to be punishing us for something we did not do. 1st my account – Chino Yalin then even Samantha’s account – Cynara Cortes (SL name) too!? That’s already below the belt Lindens.
The only reason I can think of why Cynara Cortes has been disabled is because sometimes, Samantha Defensor use Chino Yalin and I use Cynara Cortes whenever she wants to tweak my shape. I also changed my password to be exactly like Samantha’s because she always forget what’s my password.
Cynara Cortes is not my alternate account! That’s the only reason I can think of why Linden Lab disabled that account. I know that you guys up there are busy right now because of some problems but please don’t treat us this way.
Maybe I should talk to Torley or Garry Linden about Cynara’s account.

Don’t think they will disable her account just because of you using it. Some residents even have more than 2 accounts and they don’t get suspended because of it. Maybe they are holding her for questioning too. lol
That is very, very strange. The only thing I can imagine is Gary wants another cake. Apparently, the first one did not go over so well.
Touching on the multiple account issue, I know people who have tried to pay for another account in connection to their main, but SL acts up. Hence they are forced to make another free one. And in certain areas that are for roleplaying, NPCs (Non-Playable Characters) that will usually be scrapped at the end of a storyline are not worth being paid for.
Just a tid-bit more information.
The thing is, Cynara Cortes is owned by my Real-life girlfriend and is not an alternate account. She doesn’t deserve this. Her account shouldn’t be disabled because in SL she’s my partner. That doesn’t make sense.
She certainly did not, and as noted by other commentators, it was a stretch of speculation. In fact, it is our own speculation- there may be some other reason why it occurred. In fact, did they even give you a reason?

It’s good to hear that it all got taken care of. did Linden ever tell you what the issue was? I’d be surprised if it was related to having the same password or logging into each other’s accounts…

i think the LL guys have turned out to be idiots in this part…anyone who has multiple account(s) would never..ever have anything similar to the other account….unless that person is very very very dumb..well i think u should relax …

Well, my accounts have similarities, including friends and favorite locations, but I do not considered myself ‘unable to speak’, so to say.
As for being relaxed, it is a sensitive matter; I know how it feels to be detached from your real-life partner in game. It can be rather lonely, with SL gaining an empty edge to its dynamics. Fortunately, the issue was resolved and Chino and Cynara can relax now.
conspiracy theorists look out. SL may really be big brother.
I think we are looking more at the ‘Matrix’, considering that is the worst fear Philip Linden has of the virtual world. I do not know of any documented research, but it seems sometimes that the harder you try to not to be like something, the more you end up being like it. People really just needs to be themselves.
Oh jeez suspending two accounts just for one “so-called undue” payment… nice show of your corporation attitude LL…
Not even my local library does that lol for unreturned books.
Since it is so easy to manipulate my own AV into any shape, there is no reason for me to have multiple accounts. But I have no reason to change my shape to another gender.
I would think the problems lie with something other than multiple accounts though, because a lot of the people I know use alternate names for role playing or even job related situations.
